Rates for commercial editing are negotiable.

Academic Editing

Academics rely on publications for tenure, and journals love authors who provide them with material that has already been copyedited and formatted according to house style. My experience publishing my own academic work makes me an ideal editor to help you advance in your career through publication. I understand academic style and editors’ queries.

Rates

I charge $3/page (double-spaced) to edit academic work (journals, theses, dissertations). Reasonable queries back and forth are included in this price. A second pass of a mostly clean manuscript may be negotiated at a slightly lower rate.
